We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader

at our new chilled potato product packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off - Rolling Shift / 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs

Responsibilities

  • Plan and supervise day to day management of the department and staff within this ensuring a smooth operation
  • Control onsite inventory of all raw material and finished goods. Physical stock to be checked accurately and information fed to the site teams. Controlling stock rotation, stock movements, store temperature and, stock dwell times in line with the business' procedures.
  • Reconcile all raw materials & finished goods stock daily on ERP systems, informing the relevant departments of any variances and ensure actions are followed up accordingly.
  • Hold regular stock review meetings to ensure any variances are managed efficiently through ERP and to ensure that miss-picks and out of date stock is kept to a minimum
  • Support the team to ensure the Freezer store, Dry goods store, Despatch store, Loading Bays, and Yard areas are kept to the expected standards for hygiene and housekeeping, ensuring that all machinery, Forklift trucks and equipment are kept clean and tidy
  • Liaise daily with Production team leaders and Managers to ensure that their packing plans are in line with the loading priorities
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety standards while enforcing quality control measures throughout the production process
  • Deliver training to your team to ensure understanding of requirement and processes

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse environment
  • Strong knowledge of goods in/goods out processes, quality assurance, and safety regulations
  • Effective leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong communication skills to build rapport with team members and management
  • Ability to remain calm in a busy environment
