The Role
As a Warehouse Team Leader in Darlington, you will lead a dynamic team, optimise operations, and ensure seamless service delivery. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) operating a late shift (6PM–2AM).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a warehouse team to exceed KPIs while maintaining pristine customer service
- Ensure operational compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Oversee people leadership including:
- Performance reviews
- Absence management
- Holiday approvals
- Training and development
- Uphold stock integrity via cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and correct product handling
- Coordinate daily workflow and resource allocation to meet service targets, covering:
- Picking
- Packing
- Replenishment
- Loading
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar Team Leader or Supervisory role within a high-volume, customer-focused warehouse
- Strong people management skills, including coaching, training, and handling performance/disciplinary processes
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF technology
- Commitment to operational excellence, health, safety, and housekeeping standards
