About the Role
GXO is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Southampton. You will lead a high-performing team of flexible and engaged colleagues, focusing on always delivering operational excellence.
Work Schedule
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work 'any 5 from 7' covering rotating shifts, 07:00 till 15:30 & 13:00 till 12:30. Flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

- Salary: Up to £29,452.80 per annum

What You’ll Do
- Plan, co-ordinate, supervise, and report upon the work activities of the warehouse operatives, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training, and development
- Respond constructively to internal and external customer requests while developing and maintaining effective communication
- Report any deviations from the plan to Supervisor/Operations Manager accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure that Quality, Health & Safety, and operational procedures are maintained, that all incidents are reported in an accurate & timely manner as per company standard

What You Need to Succeed at GXO
- Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced warehouse environment preferable
- Be a natural leader, able to coach others to drive and implement change
- Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation
- Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
