Warehouse Team Leader

Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire Contract: Permanent Salary: £29,500 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: 45 hours per week (5 days over 7 shift pattern, including weekends) Shift Time: 9am - 6pm (flexibility required) Location: Chilled warehouse environment (temp range: 3°C - 5°C)


About the Role

Lead the Way at Reynolds This is a hands-on leadership role where you will serve as the key point of contact on the shop floor, leading a team of warehouse operatives and driving performance in a fast-paced FMCG operation. Your focus will be on ensuring customers receive the highest standards of service, accuracy, and efficiency daily.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily KPIs
  • Oversee receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods
  • Maintain stock accuracy through inventory control and regular checks
  • Drive a strong Health & Safety culture across the team
  • Coach and develop team members, supporting performance and career progression
  • Monitor productivity to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with other departments for end-to-end operations efficiency

Requirements

  • Experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, or equivalent senior leadership position
  • Background in a chilled FMCG or high-paced warehouse environment
  • Proven strong leadership skills, including ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory processes
  • Demonstrated organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive approach with a focus on results and people development
