Warehouse Team Manager – Grantham, Non-Driver/Operative Role
Location – Grantham Salary – £33,665 per annum, plus comprehensive benefits Hours – Sunday–Thursday, 17:00–01:30 AM (40 hours per week)
About the Role
Join Brakes, the UK’s leading foodservice supplier, and take on a pivotal role as Warehouse Team Manager in Grantham. You’ll oversee a team of operatives, administrators, and hygienists in a multitemperature warehouse, ensuring smooth operations while driving team performance, adherence to welfare standards, and customer satisfaction.
As part of Sysco, the world’s largest foodservice distributor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards across key performance metrics. Your Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a crew of warehouse operatives, administrators, and hygiene staff with empathy and purpose.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily warehouse functions across multi-temperature storage, ensuring compliance with health & safety, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Performance & Accountability: Drive team performance and engagement, monitor KPIs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build strong, collaborative relationships across multiple stakeholders to align goals and maintain operational momentum.
- Change Management: Guide teams smoothly through organisational transitions, ensuring objectives remain clearly focused.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations, workplace welfare, and procedural controls.
