Warehouse Technician
Location: Market Rasen, Lincolnshire
Contract: 3 month contract
Pay Rate: £18.54 per hour
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Warehouse Technician to support seed production, processing, and supply activities within a busy agricultural and research environment.
This role offers a varied mix of warehouse, logistics, stock management, and field-based responsibilities, playing a key part in ensuring samples, stock, and customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. The successful candidate will work across multiple operational activities, supporting both day-to-day production requirements and seasonal agricultural operations.

- Fulfil customer and internal orders, including label creation, bagging, seed treatment, and booking collections.
- Record moisture levels, weights, and stock data accurately, ensuring complete traceability.
- Handle sample taking, sample deliveries, and maintain associated records.
- Manage stock movements, storage organisation, and inventory records.
- Coordinate shipments and logistics for multiple order types.
- Operate drying, cleaning, and processing equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate production documentation.
- Support certification sample collection and submission activities.
- Process stock movements, quality uploads, and operational records within business systems.
- Assist with seasonal activities including harvesting and drilling operations.

Experience & Skills Required
- Previous experience within agriculture, seed production, warehousing, logistics, or a related operational environment.
- Comfortable carrying out physical handling and stock management activities.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence desirable.
- PA1 and PA11 certificates desirable.
- Experience operating agricultural machinery or tractors would be advantageous.
- Experience using SAP or similar stock management systems is beneficial.
