Job Purpose & Overview
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor administers and oversees warehouse operations, including processing, packaging, and storage of goods. Key responsibilities include:
- Accounting and auditing supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Managing receipt, storage, shipment, and shipping/receiving schedules while ensuring compliance.
- Quality control to ensure products meet legal, safety, and customer specifications.
- Operational efficiency—maintaining space utilization, facility integrity, and equipment adherence
This role contributes to Double Day (Mon–Fri, 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00) and Night shift (Sun–Thu, 22:00–06:00) schedules.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Leadership
- Hold overall responsibility for warehouse deliverables (performance, compliance, efficiency).
- Champion company culture, ensuring a positive working environment by adhering to Great Leader Drivers (GLDs).
- Manage warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and axe Dynamics 365 (AX D365) ERP systems.
- Develop team multi-skilling and oversee training records.

Continuous Improvement & Customer Audits
- Lead continuous improvement programmes—identify issues and provide solutions.
- Ensure compliance with customer audit standards and product quality against specifications.
- Facilitate safe operation of Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE), reducing wastage and minimising errors.
Operational Excellence
- Coordinate order confirmation, receipt, and dispatch while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Conduct effective shift handovers to ensure smooth transitions.
- Train associates on operator compliance, sterilisation standards, and safety protocols.
- Facilitate timely, accurate order picking to meet internal and external deadlines.
Regulatory & Procedural Compliance
- Maintain systems for traceability, Health & Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ERP compliance.
- Ensure legal requirements (registrations, quality checks, segregation) are met.
- Leverage labelling systems for traceability and date coding.
Safety & Hygiene
- Actively promote Health & Safety, adhering to Rich Products’ H&S policies.
- Ensure faecal waste disposal, HACCP measures, and sanitation standards are upheld.
- Keep work environments clean and tidy to reduce contamination risks.

Competencies & Knowledge Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Intermediate qualifications in Warehousing & Logistics or equivalent experience.
- Extended experience in Mechanical Handling Equipment including:
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licences (both Bendi & Counterbalance required).
- Numerical and methodical work practices preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Desirable Experience
- Preferred: Food manufacturing or logistics background.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, especially AX Dynamics.
- Banksman training, Hardhat Scissor Lift, or Reach Truck experience.
- Experience with Microsoft AX, Continuous Improvement (Lean/6 Sigma) methodologies.
