Role Overview
Reporting to the Warehouse Lead / In-side Sales Manager, the Warehouse Technician is responsible to support day-to-day warehouse operations, with a strong focus on preparing and testing In-Situ environmental monitoring equipment. This role combines core warehouse duties with hands-on technical responsibility, ensuring all instrumentation is tested, prepared, and ready for customer deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately
- Book in deliveries and check against purchase orders
- Maintain stock accuracy and warehouse organisation
- Load/unload goods safely
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Instrumentation
- Carry out functional testing of In-Situ instrumentation (e.g. water quality sondes, telemetry equipment)
- Prepare, clean, assemble, and configure equipment prior to dispatch
- Follow standard testing procedures and checklists
- Identify faults and escalate issues
- Label and log equipment accurately within internal systems
- Support calibration activities and maintain records
Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to health & safety policies
- Ensure audit and compliance standards are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and traceability
Essential Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience
- Technical or instrumentation exposure desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
- Good organisation and time management

- Willing to learn technical skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
