About the Role
Administers and operates the organisation's warehouses, including:
- Processing
- Packaging
- Storage of supplies, materials and equipment
- Auditing goods received
- Ensuring compliance, quality and customer standards
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Compliance
- Maintain control of materials, supplies, and equipment in warehouse facilities
- Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of goods
- Ensure adherence to established procedures
- Perform accurate and timely order confirmation, goods receipting, and dispatch

Logistics & Material Management
- Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to control the flow of goods
- Optimise warehouse space through effective planning
- Supervise loading, unloading, and order-picking standards using Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE)
Quality & Safety Assurance
- Ensure safe, legal, and compliant product manufacturing
- Maintain customer audit standards
- Ensures product quality meets defined Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Oversee traceability, Health & Safety (H&S), ERP, and compliance paperwork
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead a positive working environment by supporting the company’s core values (Great Leader Drivers, GLDs)
- Train associates to meet safe operator compliance and standards
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying and solving issues
- Oversee multi-skilling and training records for warehouse team members
Performance Monitoring
- Manage warehouse KPIs (e.g., efficiency, accuracy)
- Serve as SME for AX D365 systems
- Ensure timely order picking to meet internal and external customer requirements
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Execute and promote all Rich Products health and safety policies
- Ensure MHE is used correctly, minimising wastage and adhering to technical requirements
- Maintain impeccable workspace cleanliness and tidiness
- Champion H&S culture to foster a safe working environment

Key Milestones
Operating hours: Friday to Monday evenings (40-hour workweek)
Key Accountabilities & Outcomes
Warehouse Deliverables
- Execute performance, compliance, and efficiency goals
- Maintain accurate. traceability records (dates, H&S, ERP)
Operational Excellence
- Correct labelling for internal/external traceability standards
- Accurate date coding adherence
- On-time delivery of goods to customer specifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
Eligibility Essentials
✔ Warehousing operations experience ✔ Experience or licencing with Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) ✔ Forklift Truck (FLT) licencing (Bendi & Counterbalance) ✔ Proficient in numerical data entry and methodical workflows
Preferred or Desirable Qualifications
- Background in food industry operations
- Experience with ERP systems (especially AX Dynamics)
- Banksman training
- Pallet jack (reach truck)/scissor lift experience
