Warehouse Training Coordinator

Are you passionate about developing people, influencing a safety culture, and ensuring seamless warehouse operations?

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Warehouse Training Coordinator to join our team in Swindon, supporting our customer Iceland.

About the Role

You will ensure that all training complies with regulatory and safety standards, including RTITB (Road Transport Industry Training Board) accreditation. Your role will focus on driving operational excellence by supporting competent, compliant, and safety-conscious warehouse teams.

This is a full-time, permanent position primarily working Monday to Friday (09:00–17:00), though some flexibility will be required due to the nature of logistics work.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for the following in your typical day:

  • Deliver accredited MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) training (including Counterbalance and Reach Truck) in line with RTITB standards
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage training schedules across the site
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of training effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain training materials, assessments, and competency frameworks for warehouse operatives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
