About the Role

This role sits within our Adult Skills provision, where we support adults in developing new skills, achieving recognised qualifications and progressing into employment.

In this role, you will support learners based at HM Prison Humber who are working towards the level 2 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage.

While our Head Office is located in County Durham, our Adult Skills provision operates on a national basis, delivering programmes to learners across the UK.

Duties

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality classroom-based training to learners at HM Prison Humber, supporting achievement of the level 2 Warehousing and Storage qualification
  • Create a positive, inclusive and professional learning environment that encourages learner participation, engagement and progression towards employment.
  • Adapt and deliver learning materials to meet the needs of the learner cohort, making minor updates where required to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Monitor learner attendance, participation, behaviour and progress, intervening promptly where concerns arise and celebrating positive achievements.
  • Maintain clear, consistent and proactive communication with the Delivery Manager regarding learner progress, achievement, behaviour and any emerging risks or support needs.
  • Build positive working relationships with prison education staff and key stakeholders to support the successful delivery of programmes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records, including individual learner notes, assessments, progress reviews and all required programme documentation.
  • Produce detailed end-of-course reports, documenting the learner journey, successes, challenges and overall outcomes of each cohort.
  • Support learners to develop employability skills, confidence and workplace behaviours that will help them secure employment upon release.
  • Encourage learner engagement and motivation, recognising potential barriers to learning and implementing appropriate strategies to support achievement.
  • Ensure all delivery meets awarding organisation, quality assurance and contractual requirements, participating in observations and quality monitoring activities as required.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, security and prison-specific procedures at all times, ensuring full compliance with site requirements.
  • Complete all administrative duties within agreed timescales, utilising allocated planning and administration time to maintain high standards of programme management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
