Role Overview

We are seeking an administrator to join our small, friendly warranty department in Plymouth, for a fixed-term role covering a period of Maternity Leave up to 31st December 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in processing warranty claims, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, as well as reconciliation of payments.
  • Maintaining and developing knowledge of Warranty procedures and the claiming and receiving of payments on behalf of the Dealership and its retail dealers.
  • Monitoring the accuracy of all job cards prior to claims being submitted in order to minimise risk to the company at audit.
  • Accurately reconciling all statements on payment, recording any deficiencies for further assessment and appeal where applicable.
  • Processing warranty claims in a timely manner via the relevant management/computer system, using the appropriate dealer warranty procedures.
  • Provide a high level of service to the Service department by proactively communicating any claim issues and assisting wherever possible with the resolution.
  • Accurately filing all relevant paperwork in line with Department procedures.
  • Keeping up to date with all product knowledge of entire range and comparable product ranges of Vospers competitors.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Well organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to follow processes accurately and consistently.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and superb listening skills.
  • Committed to delivering the best possible levels of customer service.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude.
  • Previous motor industry/warranty experience would be advantageous but full training and support is available for the right candidate.

Hours

  • 20 hours per week
