Job Description
Role Overview
MSX is seeking a Warranty Audit Consultant for the UK market. The role involves conducting in-depth reviews of dealer warranty operations, focusing on:
- Repair capability optimisation
- Audit risk assessment
- Structured warranty audits of the UK Dealer network, covering:
- Correct claim submission
- Warranty procedures & policies
The Warranty Audit Consultant will cover the entire UK, requiring travel and occasional nights away.
Job Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a UK-focused warranty team
- Analyse Dealer historical warranty cost performance – identify inefficiencies and trends
- Conduct on-site warranty audits at UK dealerships
- Manually review pre-selected paid claims & associated dealer documentation to ensure:
- Correct administrative procedures were followed
- Claims were appropriate and compliant in all respects
- Advise dealers on:
- Warranty process improvements
- Compliance with manufacturer warranties
- Prepare detailed audit reports, flagging inaccuracies and review gaps in processes
- Present meeting reports while still on-site to stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Warranty Auditing and deep knowledge of the motor industry
- Alternatively:
- Strong Aftersales & Warranty Process knowledge
- 3+ years’ hands-on workshop/technical experience
Key Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of workshop processes & policy/procedure compliance
- Understanding of motor vehicle mechanics and repair operations (advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to liaise effectively across all levels of the dealer network

- Proactive attitude – identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Business acumen & process orientation, with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and numerical competency
- Experience thriving in high-performance, collaborative teams is a plus
- Organisational & time management skills
- PC literacy (essential)

Working Arrangements
- Full-time (40 hours, Monday–Friday) with scope for flexibility
- Travel is essential (UK-wide coverage), including overnight stays as required
