Job Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating trailer and tanker traffic to be washed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Work schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 7am - 5pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- This position will use a yard truck to transport 40-foot trailers to and from the production yard/holding area to be washed.
- This position requires a current North Carolina Driver’s License and must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.
- Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds, shovel, climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
- Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high-pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure or more.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
- Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations.
- Must have the ability to document information.
- Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally.
The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Education
None required
Work Experience
Truck and/or trailer wash experience preferred. Experience with pressure washers, cleaning chemicals, and basic mechanical tools a plus
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
Must have a valid North Carolina Drivers License.
Requirements
- Must have 6 months of Truck and Trailer Experience.
- Must have 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years.
- Must have a valid North Carolina Drivers License.

Rehire Criteria
Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 90 calendar days. Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
