Initial Washrooms Hygiene Technician

Hey there! Ready for a job that actually gives you freedom and fits around your life?

If you're tired of being stuck in one place all day, stared at by a manager, or trapped behind a counter, we've got something much better for you.

Here at Rentokil Initial, we are looking for a new Washroom Hygiene Technician to join our friendly, close-knit team at the Leeds branch. You'll be out on the road, looking after our lovely customers across Leeds, Bradford, and Wakefield.

Don't worry if you've never done anything like this before. We genuinely hire for personality and attitude, not a long list of past jobs. We will fully support you from day one with comprehensive, industry-leading training. If you love driving and enjoy making people smile, you're exactly who we are looking for!

The good stuff

We believe that if we treat you like a human being and take care of you, you'll take great care of our customers. Here is what we offer:

  • Real financial stability: A guaranteed starting basic salary of £26,655 a year
  • Extra cash in your pocket: With our straightforward bonus and commission schemes, you can realistically expect to take home £27,500+ a year
  • Your weekends belong to you: This is a permanent, Monday-to-Friday job (40 hours a week). No weekend shifts mean you never have to miss family dinners, drinks with friends, or your favorite hobbies
  • Great daytime hours: Your day fits into a comfortable 6am to 6pm window. No night shifts!
  • A path to earn even more: Want to grow? Our performance-linked Salary Grading System means your base pay automatically goes up as you learn new skills. Down the line, you can even choose to bump up to a 48-hour week for a guaranteed higher salary if you want to

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Pride in your ride: You'll take full ownership of your vehicle, driving safely and looking out for others using our easy RI Drive Smart tips

You'll be a perfect fit if:
