Waste and Recycling Manager
Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.

The Role
As Waste & Recycling Manager, you will oversee & proactively manage waste & recycling operations across Oxfam’s Retail Division. You will work with external & internal stakeholders to deliver a first-class service ensuring full compliance across all agreed SLA’s & related legislation & regulations.
You will provide waste & recycling solutions that meet ethical, environmental & financial objectives. You will collect & analyse all data relating to waste & recycling to support operational & strategic decision making. You will explore new & innovative ways of working within the waste & recycling sector while all the time driving increased efficiencies.
You will also contribute to & develop a vision & strategic direction for waste & recycling across Oxfam’s Retail Division.
What We Are Looking For

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:
Experience of working within the waste & recycling sector Commercial mindset Ability to plan, manage & execute complex projects with particular experience across the waste & recycling sector Experience of working with 3rd Party suppliers & contractors Experience of managing multiple high value contracts at any one time Financial management & analysis Experience of managing performance of others (people and £s), delivering KPIs & organisational objectives & helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential Strong IT/Data base/Technology skills. Adept in collecting & analysing data Good written & verbal communication. Ability to present information & data to support informed decision making Good understanding & expertise in providing quality service & customer care Logistics experience People management skills Agility & flexibility High levels of resilience and the ability to effectively manage priorities and own workload
