The Role…
At Soho House, a Waste Collector plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for members, guests, and colleagues. You will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and disposing of waste in line with company policies, sustainability practices, and health & safety regulations.
This is a hands-on role requiring reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Key duties…
- Collect and dispose of general, recyclable, and hazardous waste in accordance with company and local authority guidelines.
- Ensure waste is sorted correctly to support recycling and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain cleanliness in waste collection areas, bins, and storage points.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of waste disposal equipment and vehicles.
- Report any issues with waste storage, overflowing bins, or health hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Follow health & safety procedures when handling, transporting, and disposing of waste.
- Support department teams with ad hoc cleaning or waste-related tasks as required.

What we are looking for...
A successful Waste Collector for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first-class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly, and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- Previous experience in waste collection, cleaning, or facilities operations preferred.
- Awareness of recycling, sustainability, and safe waste handling practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and conscientious.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Pay Range
£14.50—£14.50 GBP
