About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the multi-award-winning Energy & Sustainability Team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
You will be responsible for:
- Monitoring waste services
- Undertaking waste audits
- Ensuring legislative compliance across MFT’s sites
The role involves:
- Managing a variable workload
- Working effectively within a team
The position emphasises high standards and a commitment to supporting the implementation of waste and sustainability initiatives, while identifying and delivering projects to reduce waste and improve segregation.
The Waste Officer will play a key role in supporting waste management across the Trust, including a requirement to work from multiple Trust sites.
