Waste Process & Pricing Manager | Commercial Strategy, Pricing & Process Optimisation
About The Role
We're looking for a commercially minded and analytically driven Waste Process & Pricing Manager to play a pivotal role in an exciting period of growth for our Waste division. As we continue to expand and strengthen our market position, you'll be responsible for shaping pricing strategies, optimising waste processes and identifying opportunities that drive commercial success.
Working across Commercial, Sales, Operations, Finance and Compliance, you'll turn data and market insight into action - improving efficiency, unlocking value and helping us deliver smarter solutions for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive profitability and growth
- Creating and maintaining pricing models, commercial tools and reporting dashboards
- Analysing waste disposal, transport and processing costs to identify margin opportunities
- Optimising waste processing and disposal routes to improve efficiency
- Providing commercial pricing support to Sales, Branches and Commercial teams
- Managing supplier and subcontractor relationships, including commercial negotiations
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and disposal costs to inform strategic decisions
- Producing commercial insights and KPI reporting to support business performance
- Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, governance and customer experience
- Collaborating across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Compliance and Product teams to deliver business improvements

About You
You're a commercially focused pricing, commercial analysis or waste professional who enjoys using data to influence business decisions and improve performance.
You'll have experience developing pricing models, analysing commercial performance and working across multiple business functions. Experience within waste management, environmental services, logistics or another commercially driven operational environment would be highly advantageous.
You will have:
- Proven experience in pricing, commercial analysis, revenue management or waste operations
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and data modelling experience
- Experience developing pricing frameworks, reporting and commercial insights
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer value and profitability
- Experience managing suppliers or third-party partners
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar analytical tools is advantageous
