Hours: 2 days per week (approximately 9:00am – 5:00pm, Task till finish
Pay: £16.00 per hour
About the Role
Skip on Wheels is looking for a reliable and hardworking Waste Removal Operative to join our growing business. Initially, you’ll work directly alongside the owner for approximately two months to learn every aspect of the job. Following this training period, you’ll take responsibility for carrying out daily collections independently while remaining in regular contact with the owner, who will continue managing bookings, customer enquiries and business operations remotely.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting customers and taking pride in providing a professional service.

Responsibilities
- Collect household and commercial waste from customer locations.
- Load waste safely and efficiently into the company van and trailer.
- Dispose of waste at authorised recycling centres and waste facilities.
- Maintain a clean, organised and roadworthy company vehicle.
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent Skip on Wheels professionally.
- Take before-and-after photographs of completed jobs where required.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents or customer concerns promptly.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and waste handling regulations.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Confident driving a van (experience towing a trailer is preferred but training can be provided).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items safely.
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
- Friendly with customers and able to work independently.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation, photos and communication.
