About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our Waste & Removal Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to collect, transport, and dispose of unwanted goods, furniture, metals, catering equipment, refrigeration units, and other items no longer needed. Occasionally, you may be required to move equipment between locations.
This position involves driving a Luton van (standard driving license required) and performing manual handling tasks. Flexibility is essential, as the role may include early starts, late finishes, occasional overtime, and overnight stays when traveling long distances.
Please note this is a 6 Month FTC.
What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a Luton van to collect and remove unwanted items from various locations.
- Transport goods for disposal or relocation as instructed.
- Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling and securing loads during transit.
- Dispose of waste in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and disposals.
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.
- Always adhere to health and safety guidelines.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need
- Full UK driving license (standard category B).
- Ability to drive and maneuver a large Luton van confidently.
- Physically fit and capable of manual lifting and handling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in waste removal, delivery driving, or similar roles is desirable but not essential
