KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Prestige Watch Polisher Technician, you will play a vital role in the success of the Service Centre. Your primary responsibility will be the meticulous finishing of watch cases and bracelets for both After Sales Service clients and stock inventory. This includes the full dismantling and reassembly of cases post-polishing, ensuring adherence to brand specifications, maintaining water resistance, and performing general repairs.

You will operate to Swiss standards using industry-leading equipment from Crevoisier, ensuring exceptional quality in every aspect of your work. Your skills will be continuously developed through a combination of internal training and specialised Swiss programs, supporting your growth throughout your career.

You will consistently demonstrate professionalism, using your strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for the business to build positive relationships with both customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Operational

  • Fully dismantling cases and organising all the separate components into their designated locations.
  • Assembles cases from kits/components, complete assembly.
  • Tests products in accordance with Bremont and international guidelines for water resistance.
  • Participates in stock takes for components, consumables, and tools when required.
  • Provides basic Quality control for components or products as and when required.
  • Provides polishing-refurbishing of components.
  • Uses IT workstations to enter data when required for status and tracking of production flow.
  • Adheres to Bremont quality standards.
  • Maintains a production output in line with departmental targets.
  • Respects Bremont’s technical guidelines.
  • Escalates issues to a superior manager in a timely manner.
  • Undertakes any other reasonable task assigned by superiors.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment in relation to both individual and team workstations.

Technical

  • Works in a safe and proper manner.
  • Uses provided safety PPE and maintains them in good order.
  • Has a good understanding of equipment and tools in the environment and their safe operation.
  • Guarantees quality of tools and equipment allocated through appropriate maintenance and annual stock takes.
  • Complies to instructions given by the superior and technical guidelines set out by Bremont.
  • Ensures that quality work is being carried out and not compromised.
  • Undertakes technical training to expand scope, update best practice, stay current with technical evolution, and best working practice.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Well-presented individual.
  • Demonstrates a positive, “can-do” attitude.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in prestige watch and bracelet refinishing/polishing.
  • Motivated team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload independently.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • WOSTEP polishing training would be advantageous but not essential.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • 37.5 hours.
  • Monday – Friday.
  • Working autonomously and in a team of ten people.
  • Working from the service centre The Wing Henley-on-Thames.
  • Probation process 4 months standard.
  • Notice period – 2 months.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Stage 1

  • Interview with hiring manager and senior manager onsite.
  • Assessment of bench skills, Polishing techniques. Allow 1 full day to complete interview and bench test.
