We’re seeking a Watch Technician to join our modern, luxury-focused watch service centre in Leicester. If you’re a passionate team player with a love for precision engineering and exceptional customer service, this role is for you.

The Role

As a Watch Technician, you’ll be the backbone of our Midlands Watch Service Centre, ensuring seamless operation across the workflow. Your key responsibilities include:

Core Responsibilities

  • Providing admin support across the watch service process, including scheduling, inventory, and client communications
  • Conducting minor watch repairs and adjustments, from tightening loose screws to handling timekeeping issues
  • Preparing complex service cases for our expert Watchmakers, including:
    • Décasing (removing watch cases for internal repairs)
    • Diagnostic testing to identify faults
    • Quality control checks to ensure compliance with strict Swiss brand specifications
  • Maintaining strict standards to guarantee highest-quality outcomes across all premium brands

Professional Development

  • Opportunity to develop expertise in premium watch brands, unlocking a mix of:
    • In-house training led by our Swiss-trained Watchmakers

About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A genuine passion for watches—knowledge of their mechanics (e.g., how mainsprings, escapements, and movements work) is a huge plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail to catch even the subtlest repairs or quality issues
  • The ability to thrive under pressure, balancing complex tasks with tight deadlines
  • Strong intercultural communication skills—you’ll interact with experts, colleagues, and clients daily
  • Presentation and professionalism in a client-facing luxury service environment
  • Organisational and administrative acumen to manage schedules, paperwork, and inventory efficiently

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
