Water Delivery Coordinator
Circa £28,000 dependent on skills and experience
Fixed Term contract – until April 2027
Full time - 37.5 hours per week, working between the hours of 7am and 6pm Huntingdon

We are looking for a Water Delivery Coordinator to join our Water Delivery team on a Fixed Term basis!
As a customer-facing first point of contact for an Alpheus key client, you will develop successful relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication to ensure delivery targets are met. You will coordinate requirements to deliver an efficient, sustainable, and resilient service.
This role is extremely busy and fast-paced and requires proven experience in working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities. Every hour you could be changing direction of activity and there’s a need for attention to detail to ensure efficiencies are maintained. You will grow with the role as the client requirements increase in both number and complexity.
This role will be part of an on-call rota for Saturdays between 7:00 and 13:00.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the Key customer to process new delivery requests and ensure accurate scheduling
- Attend regular meetings with customers and contractors
- Ensure all requests and communications (emails, phone calls, Teams messages) are dealt with, within agreed service levels
- Efficient scheduling and coordination of the customer requirements – once these are identified and understood, instruct the contractors to complete the work, maintaining regular communication with stakeholders to verify the status of work and ensure satisfaction
- Process new water requests
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets/documents/processes to plan and record delivery information
- Accurate maintenance and preparation of records of work completed and spend to support financial tracking and reporting
- Problem solving – including vehicle changes, broken down vehicles, traffic accidents, ensuring you have identified the impact of these
- Ensure all work requests are identified and understood, to enable work to proceed in a safe and efficient manner
- Resolve stakeholder / haulier queries
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety, ensuring consistent standards are maintained

- Self-motivated
- Strong team player, with a willingness to support others, whilst taking ownership for tasks and problems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and staying busy
- Able to work on multiple different tasks at one time, and adapt and reprioritise as circumstances demand to meet requirements and timescales
- MS Office expertise, with emphasis on Sharepoint and Excel
- Proven communicator, able to interact positively with different audiences
- Take pride in delivering high quality, accurate work on time
- Able to deal with problems and concerns in an efficient helpful manner
