Description
Water Hygiene Engineer Concept Environmental Solutions Role is open to candidates from Bristol, Swindon, Reading and local areas within commutable distance to the M4.

Job details Concept are looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join the team. This role is vital in ensuring clients’ water systems remain fully compliant with Legionella control guidelines and industry standards. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, technical inspections, and remedial works while delivering exceptional service.

What you will do Installation and maintenance of thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs)' Cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks. Cleaning and disinfection of showerheads. Calorifier inspections. Expansion vessel flushing. Chlorine dioxide testing (desirable). Water softener servicing (desirable). Provide technical insight into system performance and asset condition. Identify and recommend remedial actions. Interpret and implement Legionella Risk Assessment recommendations. Escalate system defects, anomalies, and high risk findings appropriately. Who you are 1–2 years’ experience in water hygiene, water treatment, or a related industry, including monitoring tasks, disinfections, and technical remedial works (experience beyond basic PPM desirable). Practical fault-finding experience across water systems including calorifiers, expansion vessels, TMVs, and distribution systems; knowledge of softeners and chlorine dioxide systems desirable. Strong technical knowledge of water hygiene compliance, including interpretation of Legionella Risk Assessments and guidance.
