Water Hygiene Manager
Technical Services Manager
Location: National role (Midlands, North, including parts of Scotland) Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum + company van and fuel card
We are looking for a Technical Services Manager to oversee the management and development of our Plumbing and Technical Services department across The Midlands, The North of England (including parts of Scotland).
This role is ideal for a people-focused leader, passionate about:
- Motivating and developing high-performing teams
- Ensuring safe and effective delivery of all planned and reactive plumbing works
You’ll be the main contact for delivering an exceptional high-level service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Recruitment and development of:
- Water Hygiene Plumbers
- Technical Services Engineers
- Managing the safe and effective delivery of:
- Planned plumbing works
- Reactive plumbing services
- Water treatment installations
- Servicing and maintenance operations
- Ensuring departmental KPIs and revenue targets are achieved and exceeded
- Championing Health & Safety across the department and region
- Providing technical plumbing and water treatment advice to sales and account management
- Coordinating engineers’ work and installations, including:
- Tracking project progress
- Ensuring deadlines are met

Required Experience & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Demonstrable experience in the water hygiene plumbing and remedial engineering services industry
- Experience in leading plumbers or technical services engineering teams within the water treatment/water hygiene industry
- Excellent understanding of water treatment/legionella industry legislation
- NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent plumbing qualifications
- Strong communication, management, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in field service software and Microsoft Office
