The Role: Water Hygiene Technician – Peterborough
You’ll play a vital role in our growing Environment & Safety division, contributing to both our day-to-day operations and long-term success.
What You’ll Do
As part of this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting cold water storage tank inspections and recommending remedial works
- Performing tank cleaning and disinfection procedures
- Service and failsafe checks on thermostatic mixing valves
- Collecting and analyzing water samples for hygiene testing
- Monitoring and recording water temperatures
- Descaling and restoring functionality to showerheads
Note: Due to the nature of this work, travel will be necessary as part of your daily duties.
Your Qualities & Commitment
We’re looking for a motivated, dependable, and mission-driven individual who can thrive both independently and as part of a team. Key requirements include:
✔ Experience in one or more of the listed tasks, or a willingness to be trained ✔ A "can do" attitude with a proactive, solution-focused approach ✔ Valid UK driving license (technical mobility for site visits) ✔ Dedication to maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene
Note: Security clearance requirements will apply once in position—you will need to obtain an MOD Security Clearance.
