Financial Planner – North East England

About the Role

Are you an experienced Financial Planner looking to join a highly respected and growing advisory business where client relationships, professional standards, and long-term career development are genuinely valued?

Our client is an established and award-recognised professional services firm with a thriving wealth management division. Due to continued growth and increasing client demand, they are seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join their team and deliver high-quality independent financial advice to a diverse portfolio of private clients, families, and business owners.


The Opportunity

Working alongside an experienced team of paraplanners and support professionals, you will provide holistic financial planning advice across:

  • Investment planning
  • Retirement and pension planning
  • Estate and inheritance tax planning
  • Trust and intergenerational wealth planning
  • Protection and risk management

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored financial planning advice to new and existing clients
  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to grow assets under management and expand client relationships
  • Ensure advice remains fully compliant with FCA regulations and internal standards
  • Collaborate closely with paraplanning and administration teams to deliver a first-class client experience
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing CPD and industry development

About You

Essential:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
  • Previous experience as a Financial Planner, Wealth Manager, or Senior Paraplanner transitioning into an advisory role
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty, and suitability requirements
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in financial planning and CRM systems such as Voyant, Xplan, or similar
