**Experienced Product Governance Manager – Wealth Management

Key Responsibilities
As Product Governance Manager – Wealth Management, you will:
- Own and execute Handelsbanken Wealth’s product governance framework across all product lifecycles, ensuring compliance with regulation while minimising wasteful bureaucracy.
- Collaborate with product owners, senior leaders, and ACD (Advisory & Compliant Decision-making) teams to align products/services with governance standards—guaranteeing full adherence to regulatory obligations and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
- Establish regular review processes, including trigger events, to maintain fit-for-purpose products and prevent substandard customer experiences.
- Provide leadership to the Product & Pricing Committee, overseeing procedures, terms of reference, and effective, efficient governance.
- Take ownership of Consumer Duty monitoring, working with Compliance teams to refine outcome tracking. Draft the annual Consumer Duty Board Report, ensuring transparent reporting to leadership and boards.
- Support customer service and support teams in refining policies for fair treatment of vulnerable customers.
- Implement an appropriate product testing process to safeguard quality.
- Support annual product reviews, target market assessments, and fair value evaluations to confirm suitability for investors. Guide product owners on risk controls and effective testing protocols.
- Stay ahead of regulatory developments and industry trends while assessing their impact on Handelsbanken Wealth’s governance framework.

What We’re Looking for

Experience and Skills
- Proven experience establishing governance frameworks within the wealth or investment management sector, or a comparable role (e.g., product, governance, or compliance in wealth management).
- A deep understanding of investment vehicles, personal banking investor profiles, and the UK’s wealth management product ecosystem.
- Expert stakeholder management skills: ability to influence, build relationships, and foster cross-team alignment. Work seamlessly with Handelsbanken Wealth, plc, and wider Group teams.
- A rigorous grasp of regulatory requirements—including PROD (Product Governance), Consumer Duty, MiFID, COBS, ICOBS, COLL, AIFMD.
- Strong risk and control framework knowledge with collaboration experience in second-line functions.
- Experience presending technical information to senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- A collaborative mindset with proven ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and meet tight deadlines.
