Job Title: Web Analytics Implementation Analyst Reports to: Data Enablement Manager Department: Strategy, Policy & Insights Location: Leeds / Manchester Grade: P1

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Audience Insight are trusted thought-leaders bringing expert strategy, policy, market & audience insight - challenging and advising the business to drive delivery of Channel 4’s strategy and remit. The purpose of the new centralised Audience Insights (Subfunction) is to be independent thought leaders at the heart of Channel 4’s creative and commercial decision-making, bringing a single source of truth and big picture perspective, challenging and advising the business to ensure profitable business growth through the use of data.

Within the new centralised operating Insights model (where all audience and market insight in C4 is centralised into the Audience Insight team), each C-Suite Leader (CEO, Chief Content Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and the Exec Committee as a body) and their Senior Leaders have a dedicated Insight Business Partner (BP) who prioritizes and agrees their Insight requirements, aligned to the strategic C4 pillars. BP Analysts directly source available analysis and where additional, bespoke research or specialised analysis is required, the BP will commission this from the relevant Specialist Lead, managing jointly the presentation back of recommendations to the C-Suite Leader.

JOB PURPOSE

The Web Analytics Implementation Analyst ensures Channel 4’s digital products (web, mobile apps, games consoles and TV/set‑top box experiences) are accurately and consistently instrumented so that behaviours can be measured and understood. The role translates business and product questions into clear tracking specifications, supports high‑quality implementation across platforms, and maintains the documentation and quality assurance needed for trustworthy reporting.

Working with Product, Technology, agencies and Audience Insight specialists, the post holder owns tracking standards, change control, QA and supporting materials for Adobe Analytics and related BI usage, ensuring telemetry aligns with the governed reporting catalogue, KPI definitions and the way reports and models are produced and promoted across environments (Dev → Test → Prod). The role provides subject‑matter stewardship of the tracking solution roadmap across Channel 4’s digital estate, ensuring standards evolve with product needs and are communicated through versioned specifications and release notes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
