Web Content Coordinator (Fixed-Term Contract) – Customer Experience Team

The Opportunity
An exciting part-time fixed-term contract role (12-month) has arisen within our Customer Experience Team as a Web Content Coordinator. This pivotal position focuses on optimising our website to enhance traffic, conversions, and search rankings.
This role demands a blend of technical expertise, content strategy, and analytical skills to ensure our website remains engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with our core brand values. A key priority will be refining member experience across all digital touchpoints, ensuring seamless navigation, accessibility, and seamless user engagement.
Reporting to: Website Manager
What You Will Do
Website Content & SEO
- Develop, update, and maintain web content on Adobe Commerce, safeguarding accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Optimise existing content while creating and uploading new content—ensuring SEO best practices, valid link checking, and proper meta tag/description set-up.
- Design and test new pages and microsites end-to-end before deployment.
- Regularly review and update the homepage to reflect current offerings, maintaining relevance and compliance with evolving products and member benefits.
- Maintain website hygiene by removing outdated or redundant materials, ensuring ongoing relevance and optimisation.
- Forefront search engine compliance, SEO best-practices, and dynamic content/structural changes to match search algorithms.
- Leverage Search Metrics platforms to improve search ranking.
- Monitor website analytics and adjust content strategy based on insights, recommending iterative improvements across platforms.

User Experience (UX) & Members’ Journey
- Proactively enhance members’ experience by refining touchpoints for intuitive navigation and engagement.
- Apply up-to-date UX methodologies, identifying improvements for memorability, personalisation, and member retention across CSSC’s website.
- Provide recommendations for improving member and staff interactions, ensuring feasible and cost-effective solutions.
- Support end-to-end testing of new website features, optimisation projects, and integrated systems.

Key Skills & Experience
Essential Skills
✅ 1+ years’ experience in Web Content Management Systems (WCMS). ✅ Proficiency and experience using Adobe Commerce (Magento) and other CMS platforms. ✅ Basic technical HTML knowledge and data-developing practices. ✅ Sound understanding of SEO best practices, profiling with tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush. ✅ Familiarity with analytical tools (e.g., Hotjar for behaviour tracking). ✅ Advanced editing, copywriting, and proofreading skills.
Desirable Skills
📌 Experience managing large AdobeCommerce sites. 📌 Exposure to Adobe Photoshop or similar design/vector tools.
Soft Skills
💡 Ability to balance conflicting demands while prioritising effectively. 💡 Strong relationship-building skills across departmental lines. 💡 Regular stakeholder communication approach.
