About The Role

We are looking for a web developer to cover a period of maternity leave on a fixed-term basis. You will keep perspectum.com (WordPress) running, accurate and on-brand, and you will play a central part in a live project: transitioning our in-house concept site into the production website. The concept site is hand-built in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, so you will be comfortable both in WordPress and in front-end code, turning a finished design concept into a live, performant site. You will sit in Digital Media and work with teams across the business.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain and update perspectum.com in WordPress, keeping it accurate, on-brand and fully functional.
  • Help build out and transition the in-house concept site into the production website, working in hand-coded HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no CSS framework, using Python build tooling and a Git-based deployment workflow.
  • Pick up and deliver in-flight web work and team requests so projects continue without interruption.
  • Build pages and web elements that follow the brand book and templates.
  • Test across devices and browsers, troubleshoot and fix issues, and keep performance and load times strong.
  • Apply SEO best practice and keep content correct and consistent.
  • Hand work back cleanly at the end of the cover period.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Self-motivated and organised, able to step into an existing setup quickly and manage multiple deadlines.
