About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team based in Rotherham. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing and internal web applications that are critical to our business operations. You will collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and other IT professionals to deliver high-quality solutions that streamline processes and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering robust web applications using technologies such as.NET MVC, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, RESTful API, SOAP, and SQL Server. Experience with Blazor or mobile application development will be considered advantageous.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years of experience in web development, with a strong background in .NET technologies and front-end frameworks. Essential qualifications include:
- Proven experience with.NET MVC, C#, and .NET Core
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap for responsive design
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP web services
- Proficiency in SQL Server database management and querying
- Experience with Blazor or mobile application development is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing, testing, and maintaining web applications that support business operations and customer engagement
- Collaborating with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Designing user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and aligned with modern standards
- Integrating third-party APIs and web services to enhance application functionality

- Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing applications
- Participating in code reviews and adhering to best practices in software development
