About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our growing team at Hypercreate Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of both customer-facing websites and internal web platforms. Your expertise will help ensure our digital assets are responsive, functional, and aligned with the latest web standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in front-end and back-end development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating seamless online experiences. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of core web technologies and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new skills. Key qualifications include:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress and server-side languages such as PHP or Python.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Portfolio projects, relevant training, or placement experience are highly valued.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
The Web Developer will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the quality and functionality of our web platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Building and updating responsive websites and web pages that provide optimal user experience across devices.
- Supporting both front-end and back-end development activities to implement new features and functionalities.
- Troubleshooting website issues, debugging bugs, and resolving technical problems promptly.
- Collaborating with designers to translate visual concepts into fully functional websites.
- Conducting performance testing across different browsers and devices to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and version-control records to facilitate ongoing development and team collaboration.
