The Company
Lioncroft Wholesale Limited’s business was formed in 2020 after being bought out from the wider East End Foods’ business. This wholesale business is a £150m turnover company, stretched across two sites with ambitions to grow rapidly in the next few years. It operates through having a diverse customer base across thousands of customers and a strong supplier base.
Main Purpose of the Role
To work closely with the management, sales, and commercial teams to develop and maintain the company’s e-commerce platforms and digital presence. The role involves ensuring the webstore is accurate, compliant, and engaging, while supporting growth through effective content, promotions, and marketing integration.
Key Responsibilities
Webstore & Ecommerce Management
- Play a key role in the ongoing development of our webstore and other ecommerce applications.
- eCommerce trading driving revenue, conversion, and customer experience on site.
- Own the eCom Trading Calendar — content banner, product placement, and seasonal activity.
- Drive revenue, conversion, AOV, traffic etc – and any other key eCom metrics available.
- Manage all webstore content, ensuring products, pricing, and promotions are accurate and up to date.
- Undertake page and content updates to maintain a professional and user-friendly experience.
- Upload new product variants and remove discontinued items.
- Maintain and update images of product variants.
- Add and remove items from promotional categories on a weekly basis.
- Apply 301 redirects of old variants to new variants when required.

Marketing & Promotions
- Increase brand awareness and grow online presence through social media.
- Maintain deals and supplier banners on the homepage, updating weekly with relevant links to product variants or categories.
- Highlight opportunities for growth through promotions, campaigns, and new product launches.
Analytics & Compliance
- Monitor website traffic, identify trends, and report findings to management.
- Ensure Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixels are integrated for performance tracking (once live on domain).
- Monitor areas of concern and non-compliance, escalating where necessary.
- Identify and resolve errors, liaising with third-party support partners as required.

On-Site Experience & Merchandising
- Onsite merchandising of product and promotional and category optimization.
- Work with category teams develop each category and experience on site to drive conversion.
- Ensuring product and promotions are live on site – working with the pricing and promotion team as well as the data team weekly to execute.
Site Enhancement & Development
- Work with Data, IT teams to enhancements, fixes, Add On’s new releases etc.
- Technical know-how of backend systems and front-end systems in sync with each other.
User Experience
- Identify how to improve customer journeys and drive revenue across the different pages of the website.
- Work with marketing teams to align all onsite activity with offsite marketing levers.
- Managing all touchpoints of the customer journey from sign up – registration – browsing and shopping – to conversion.
- Working with the relevant teams to ensure after sale care is carried out – through logistics / operations team, customer services, etc.
