About Us
Insight Consultancy is a small but busy digital agency committed to delivering top-notch, custom-built websites for our diverse range of clients. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Website Designer to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating bespoke digital experiences.
Location
We are based in Leicester, but our team works remotely from locations across the UK. The role is fully remote, but if you are based near or around Leicester, our office is open for you to work in if you wish.
Team
You will work within a core team of 8, with the support of additional part-timers and interns. The role would be suitable for anyone with existing design experience in a commercial or agency environment.
Full-time and part-time applications are welcome.

Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Responsive UX/website prototyping in Figma
- Assisting in formulating sitemaps and information architecture
- Building and presenting design & brand strategies in collaboration with the wider team
- Testing and quality control of website designs after they are built, ensuring project objectives are met
- Handling the handover process of dev-ready designs to the development team
- User testing and shaping the client CMS experience
- Assisting in maintaining and growing our component library/design system in Figma
- Putting together branding concepts and brand guidelines
Required Skills and Qualities
- Understanding of how SEO best practices affect information architecture
- Some experience with WordPress CMS (no coding knowledge required)
- Adobe Creative Suite (with a focus on Illustrator and Adobe XD)
- Excellent working knowledge of the design fundamentals of typography, composition, and colour
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design and UX projects
