Who you are

  • 4+ years’ experience creating exceptional websites or digital experiences, as a web designer, design engineer, creative technologist, or similar
  • An outstanding visual thinker with excellent taste and a clear sense of what makes a website feel world class
  • Highly capable across the full process of digital experiences: from concept to design, build to launch, and endless iteration
  • Design led, but technically strong: you can build stunning page designs and know how to make them happen
  • Excited to take ownership of Scarlet’s website as one of our most important brand and growth assets
  • Full of ideas for how to make a website feel distinctive, premium, useful, and alive
  • You care about producing work that stands up against the best in the world, and you know what that bar looks like

You’ll make it one of the clearest expressions of that ambition: a world-class digital experience that helps prospects, partners, customers, candidates, and the wider healthcare industry understand what Scarlet offers the world and why it matters.

Scarlet’s reputation is growing. We’re now looking for someone exceptional to own and continually elevate our website: making it more beautiful, more distinctive, more useful, and more effective every week.

In this role, you will build, maintain, and iterate a stunning and commercially effective site, with the following being in service of that:

  • Independently concept, design, build, launch, and improve new and existing pages across the site
  • Develop original ideas for pages, sections, interactions, and digital storytelling
  • Likely build in Framer, Webflow, or similar, using custom code where needed to create more bespoke moments
  • Work closely with wider the Marketing, Commercial, and Product teams to ensure the website experiences match the exceptional value that Scarlet offers
  • Ensure a balance between beauty and commercial impact
  • Bring elite judgement on typography, layout, motion, responsiveness, performance, and SEO/AEO/GEO
