Utility Infrastructure
Our team of Utility Infrastructure specialists design, build and maintain critical water, energy (gas), power and telecoms infrastructure, for the UK’s largest network owners and operators.
Social Infrastructure
Our team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance.

We are looking for a maternity-cover Website & Social Media Manager who can confidently manage multiple websites, curate a multi-platform social calendar, and bring experience from utilities, construction, engineering or similar operational sectors to elevate our digital presence.
Job Purpose
The Website & Social Media Manager will oversee the performance, accuracy, and impact of several organisational websites while delivering a cohesive, insight-driven social media strategy across multiple platforms. Experience in utilities, construction, infrastructure, or other operational industries is highly desirable, ensuring the postholder can translate complex technical work into accessible, engaging digital content.

Key Responsibilities
- Website Management — Manage and optimise multiple websites, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, SEO-optimised, and aligned with organisational priorities.
- Content Strategy — Plan and deliver content that showcases projects, people, safety, sustainability, and community impact — particularly relevant in utilities and construction environments.
- Social Media Management — Curate and manage a multi-platform social calendar (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok where relevant), ensuring consistent messaging and timely engagement.
- Analytics & Reporting — Produce monthly dashboards across all websites and social channels, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Brand Governance — Maintain brand consistency across diverse project teams and geographically dispersed sites.
- Campaign Delivery — Support integrated campaigns highlighting major projects, recruitment drives, apprenticeships, ESG initiatives, and community programmes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration — Work with operational teams, project managers, HSE leads, and senior stakeholders to gather stories and ensure digital channels reflect real-time activity.
- Crisis & Reputation Management — Monitor channels for issues, particularly around safety, outages, service disruption, or community concerns.
Skills & Experience
- Sector Experience — Experience in utilities, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or similar sectors is strongly preferred.
- Digital Marketing Expertise — Strong understanding of SEO, UX, analytics, and content optimisation.
- CMS Proficiency — Confident managing multiple websites via WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, Umbraco, or similar.
- Social Media Tools — Skilled in scheduling, monitoring, and reporting tools.
- Copywriting & Editing — Ability to translate technical or operational information into clear, engaging content.
- Creative Skills — Ability to brief designers or create simple assets using Canva or Adobe Express.
- Data-Driven Mindset — Comfortable interpreting analytics and making recommendations.
- Project Management — Strong organisational skills, especially when juggling multiple websites and content streams.
