The Role
The role drives the quality, performance, and continuous improvement of PPHE’s digital platforms, ensuring websites deliver a seamless and high-quality user experience aligned with brand standards and combines technical expertise with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset, taking ownership of CMS environments, on-page SEO optimisation, and content governance.
Key Website Specialist responsibilities:
- Support the Website Manager in delivering the website development roadmap, ensuring projects are implemented on time and to a high standard
- Act as a key CMS specialist (WordPress and Tridion), maintaining content quality, governance standards, and brand consistency
- Take ownership of SEO performance, identifying opportunities and implementing on-page and technical improvements, including metadata, internal linking, and content optimisation
- Monitor website performance and conduct regular audits to identify and resolve issues impacting UX, SEO, and conversion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting, analysing performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
- Support external web and SEO agencies by creating briefs, tracking progress, and ensuring high-quality delivery
- Own the user acceptance testing (UAT) process, identifying UX improvements and ensuring new developments meet requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Digital Marketing, Brand & Content, and regional teams to ensure consistency and alignment

About you:
- Experience in a Web Specialist, Digital, or SEO-focused role
- Strong expertise in WordPress or similar CMS platforms
- Solid understanding of on-page and technical SEO, with the ability to implement optimisations independently
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in tools such as Google Analytics
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
