Role Overview

New Forest Hotels | Full-time, Permanent Love people, unforgettable events, and closing deals that actually mean something? We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Wedding & Events Executive to join our team at New Forest Hotels.

This is a full-time (40-hour per week), permanent role with a competitive salary of £27,270 + commission.


Working Pattern

  • 5 days over 7 (40 hours per week)
  • Weekends are part of the role (typical shifts: Tuesday–Saturday or Wednesday–Sunday)
  • Remote venue locations – personal transport essential

You’ll be the go-to person for couples and clients planning their big moments, guiding them from first enquiry to final booking:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound email & phone enquiries
  • Produce quotes, proposals, contracts, and invoices
  • Build strong long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Host show rounds and meet clients face-to-face
  • Upsell where appropriate (adding value to bookings)
  • Manage enquiries through to confirmed bookings
  • Collaborate with account management & operations teams
  • Attend wedding fairs, exhibitions, and networking events
  • Ensure smooth handover once contracts are signed
  • Represent New Forest Hotels with a trustworthy and energetic personality

We’re looking for a professional, people-focused candidate with great enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences:

Numeracy & Tech Skills:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Strong Microsoft proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Other Must-Haves:

  • Confident, friendly phone manner
  • Flexible, prioritised, and solution-focused attitude
  • Sales experience (preferred but not essential)
