Role Description
The Wedding and Events Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Easthampstead Park in Wokingham. The person in this role will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of weddings and events from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests. - Managing client consultations

The Wedding and Events Manager will handle bookings, maintain accurate event documentation, monitor budgets, and support revenue targets. This role also involves:
- Leading and motivating an events team
- Maintaining high service standards
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and venue policies
Qualifications
- Experience in wedding and event planning, coordination, and on-the-day management within hotels or venues.
- Strong client relationship, communication, and negotiation skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple events, schedules, and deadlines.
- Team leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with catering, operations, and sales teams.
- Commercial awareness, including understanding of event budgets, upselling opportunities, and revenue targets.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, particularly under pressure or during live events.
- Comfortable using event management systems, calendars, and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, documents).
- Previous experience in hospitality, weddings, or events in a similar role; venue-based experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in line with event schedules.
- Relevant training or qualifications in events, hospitality management, or a related field are an advantage.
