Weddings and Events Executive
£30,000 (+ performance based bonus)
Milton Keynes

We're working with a prestigious hospitality venue looking for a Weddings and Events Sales to join their friendly and ambitious sales team. You'll play a key role in guiding clients through every stage of their wedding or special event journey, from their first enquiry through to the final planning stages, ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard.
As Weddings and Events Executive, you'll be the main point of contact for couples and event organisers, helping them plan memorable occasions while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You'll combine outstanding customer service with a proactive sales approach, conducting venue show rounds, preparing bespoke proposals, managing bookings, and identifying opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling and additional services.

- Manage wedding and special event enquiries from initial enquiry through to final planning
- Build strong relationships with clients, guiding them throughout the booking process
- Conduct professional venue tours and prepare tailored proposals
- Produce contracts, event documentation, and ensure deposits and bookings are processed accurately
- Coordinate event details with operational departments to ensure seamless delivery
- Prepare detailed function sheets and attend planning meetings
- Proactively follow up enquiries and maximise booking conversions
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and enhance each client's experience
- Ensure all enquiries, bookings, and event information are accurately maintained within internal systems
- Support the wider sales team during busy periods and contribute towards departmental revenue targets

- Previous experience within weddings, events, hospitality sales, or venue coordination
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident presenting to clients and conducting venue show rounds
