HGV 1 Driver – Part Time
Location: CirQlar Nutrition Reference: R9693 Working Hours: 33 hours per week
About the Role
Reporting to: Logistics Manager
We are searching for a qualified and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to support our critical operations, ensuring seamless collections and deliveries for our weekend supply and farm customers.
As part of our CirQlar nutrition business*, this role is essential for maintaining smooth, high-quality logistics to support our valued clients. Your professionalism and dedication will represent our company well in all customer interactions, ensuring exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships.
Purpose of the Job
- Support supply customers by keeping production schedules on track.
- Deliver directly to farm customers, with a focus on customer satisfaction and excellence in service.
This is a part-time position (33 hrs/week).
Key Accountabilities
** LGV Driving**
- Fully comply with all legal requirements, including proper behaviour towards road users, pedestrians, and the public.
- Maintain accurate and clear tachograph records, manual entries, and defect reports.
- Operate vehicles within speed limits and weight regulations at all times.

Feed Delivery
- Undertake accurate, safe deliveries on customers’ farms, adhering to UFAS compliance.
- Handle feed deliveries carefully to ensure correct bin allocations.
- Prioritise safety for farm employees, children, and livestock at all times.
- Avoid causing damage to buildings or property.
Paperwork
- Complete all delivery records, cleaning records, defect reports, etc. accurately, fully, and on time.
Health & Safety
- Strict adherence to company and customer health and safety policies.
Environment
- Fully comply with IPPC site rules, company environmental policy, and support Transport Manager with EMS improvements.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications
- Valid LGV licence Class C+E (minimum Class C).
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Certificate of Professional Competency (Driver CPC).
- Regular experience in driving LGVs.
Attributes
- Fluent in English for daily communication with colleagues and customers.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to adhere strictly to legislation and demonstrate high professionalism at all times.
