Costume Character - Weekends
Location: London
Contract: This is an 8-month contract that includes working weekends.
Welcome to Shrek’s Adventure! London. Interested in joining the hilarious mis-adventure!? Are you 5ft 11" - 6ft 3” and think you have what it takes to fill some (very) big, Ogre like shoes? If so please read the below!
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering a high-quality meet-and-greet show that is interactive, fun, and of course, Shrektacular!
- Being part of a unique, hard-working, and thrilling Entertainments Team that brings the attraction to life
- Creating a truly memorable experience for every guest who visits Shrek’s Adventure! London
- Performing for over 100,000 heroes from all over the world during your time at the attraction
- Using your theatrical skills every day while gaining valuable performance experience within a seasonal residency
- Working alongside a team of actors and meeting new people within the industry
- Developing operational skills alongside your performing, including learning show gags and timed performances
- Supporting the smooth running of shows by maintaining energy, character focus, and performance quality

Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday is a requirement for this role.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in acting or performance (theatre, immersive attractions, or similar)
- MUST be between the height of 5ft 11in - 6ft 3in
- Due to the nature of this role we are only able to accept applications from candidates 18+
- Strong character acting skills with confidence to perform in costume.
- Ability to memorize scripts and stick to strict timings.
- Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
- Physical stamina for high-energy performances throughout the day.
- Team player with professionalism and reliability.
- Bonus: Experience in entertainment, theme parks, or live events.
