The Opportunity

Join William Grant & Sons as a Weekend Technician at Bellshill, where you'll play a key role in keeping our production and engineering assets operating safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. We're looking for a multi-skilled technician with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving to join our Engineering team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing technical support to maximise the efficiency, reliability and performance of production and engineering assets.
  • Carrying out planned and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability and operational excellence.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with HMRC, environmental, ISO and company compliance requirements.
  • Supporting and managing contractors in line with contractor management procedures when required.
  • Acting as a quality champion, monitoring compliance across the production process and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Building strong working relationships with bottling, vat hall and site maintenance teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Coaching and supporting Technical Operators in asset maintenance activities and best practice.
  • Leading or contributing to improvement projects, new product development activities and engineering initiatives.
  • Driving engineering performance within designated areas while promoting a culture of safety, quality and operational excellence.
  • Supporting an inclusive and collaborative workplace where everyone is respected and encouraged to contribute.

About You

You'll be an experienced multi-skilled technician with a strong maintenance background, passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence. You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoy solving technical challenges, and take pride in delivering high-quality results. You'll have a broad range of mechanical and electrical skills, a strong understanding of maintenance practices, a proactive approach to safety and compliance, and the ability to build positive relationships across multiple teams.

  • 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on a Friday
  • 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on a Saturday and Sunday
  • 6.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon on a Monday with a 30-minute break each day.
