Weekend Hygiene Operatives
Do you want to earn a minimum of £225 per week? We’re recruiting for Weekend Hygiene Operatives to join the team at our site in Hereford, Herefordshire!
No experience necessary, full training is provided!

- Sat 11:00-19:00

About The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play an instrumental part in achieving the required hygiene standards with the Hygiene team for Avara Foods. You will adhere to health and safety at all times and follow all tasks in line with food safety rules.
Duties Include
- Understanding and attainment of both individual and department targets.
- Awareness of the usage of material and energy sources.
- Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
- Manual handling of plant and equipment
- Isolation of plant and machinery
- To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team.
- Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
- To carry out instructions as given to you by your Team Leader/Management

What are we looking for?
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

Our advanced manufacturing site in Hereford is one of our main processing facilities, processing up to 2 million birds per week. There are over 1500 talented people employed at our Hereford site, helping us to deliver high quality products to our customers and making the business a trusted leader in fresh foods. We’ve recently invested £1.2 million in technology and equipment, making it one of the most advanced food manufacturing facilities in the UK.
