Weekend Team Coordinator
Catering Supervisor – Compass Group UK&I (Chartwells)
We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis (17 hours per week)
About the Role
As a Catering Supervisor with Chartwells, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly while delivering truly incredible food experiences.

Shift Pattern
This role operates on a weekend-only schedule (39.6 weeks per year):
- Monday to Sunday: Weekends only

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
- Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service
- Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
- Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
- Liaising between customers and our culinary & service teams to ensure continuous excellence
- Supporting and training teams, leading by example so everyone can excel in their role
- Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance
Ideal Candidate Criteria
✅ Passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service ✅ Minimum of two years’ catering experience ✅ Experience managing teams in a similar role ✅ Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate ✅ Excellent communication and organisational skills ✅ Ambitious and motivated, always looking to upskill
