About the Role
Vets Now Stoke provides out-of-hours emergency and critical veterinary care for dogs, cats, and small animals. Our dedicated team works nights, weekends, and bank holidays to deliver essential care when it’s needed most.
This rewarding role offers flexible shift patterns—ideal for veterinarians looking to develop Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) skills or gain weekend experience while enjoying a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency and critical care for a wide range of small animals
- Work shifts in our out-of-hours veterinary clinic, including:
- 1:4 weekend Saturday shifts (12:00–20:00) and Sunday shifts (08:30–18:30 or 09:00–19:00)
- 1:4 weekend back shifts (18:00–00:00) and night shifts (18:00–09:00), with flexibility over when these are worked (Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays)
- All shifts include a share of bank holiday cover

Requirements
- Degree-qualified veterinarian with a passion for emergency medicine
- Experience in ECC (or keen to develop) and a commitment to flexible, shift-based work
- A collaborative approach to thrive in a team-centric environment
