About the Role

Reporting to the Welcome Office Manager (Front Office), the Welcome Desk Agent will deliver warm, personalised hospitality to every guest, ensuring an exceptional stay. As a valued team member, you’ll embody warmth, affective communication, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge every guest with genuine friendliness—using their name where possible, and adding a warm farewell
  • Anticipate and fulfil guest needs by asking insightful questions and listening to their preferences
  • Process check-ins, check-outs, and all payment methods (including cash, cheques, cards, and room charges)
  • Resolve guest complaints, disputes, and concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Handle all guest communications—emails, phone calls, messages, and requests, ensuring accurate records
  • Provide directions and local information to enhance guests’ experiences
  • Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, F&B, etc.) to create seamless stays

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in interacting with diverse guests
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management tools
  • Team player with a positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
