About The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques.
You will work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure high-quality and safe welds.
This role is - Weekly paid - Fully on-site
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding on a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents. Set up and operate welding equipment and tools. Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness and quality. Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a welder or similar role. Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC). Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent qualification. Valid CSCS card or CCNSG Safety Passport. Knowledge of health and safety standards.
